06.10.2014 Subliminal Logistics 2015

Assuming anyone is reading this, those with eyes will have noticed there is now a site where once there was merely URL-forwarding. How unutterably splendid. My sincere thanks to Sergei @ code essence for his masterful coding work behind the scenes. Every designer should have a super-competent developer, truly.

And so to the major news – the new album is currently 2 tracks shy of completion. Hoopla! I have an unnatural fascination with the word ‘twelve’, so 12 tracks it will have to be. Titled ‘Subliminal Logistics, it’s pencilled in for release in the first half of 2015. I had hoped for a vinyl release, but the production costs are absolutely prohibitive, so, with fallen crest, I hope to conjour up a very limited run of CDs. The digital version will be, as always, available on Bandcamp for however much you deem fit. Anything in excess of $0 is both encouraging and, some might say, appropriate.

More news closer to the time.

White lies for ears and eyes

It began with a Casio CTK-750, the unquantised techno and electronica making the jump to a Playstation® running Music a few years later. With the PS1, I started sampling crap synths, acoustic guitar and posting tracks on-line. People thought I was a band, and with the PS1 corrupting all the songs, 'Implosion Quintet' seemed suitable. IQ morphed into the ADHD 'genre-slam' material that centred on breaking through all stylistic barriers.

Since 2014, I've focussed on more electronic output as Oddhoody and Dreadcore, a full-circle return to the hip hop, drum n bass and electronica I began with. Future releases will likely remain in these spheres.
